There’s good news for Disneyland enthusiasts ready to bear the Anaheim summer heat just to get their fix of the Happiest Place on Earth. An no, we’re not referring to Star Wars Land (scheduled to open in 2019). We’re talking about a few new experiences arriving at the Disneyland Resort this summer. Take a look and plan to have your patience game on point, because these will be popular and crowded:
In Disneyland:
*Tomorrowland Skyland Lounge Experience– For the first time, guests visiting the Disneyland Park will be able to enjoy an elevated view of Tomorrowland and possibly catch an even better view of the Fireworks show if they purchase a $45 ticket (in addition to their park admission ticket). This new experience will begin May 26 and will be held nightly on the balcony of the Tomorrowland Expo Center from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. Ticketed guests will also get a box of treats that includes seasonal fruit, cheese and desserts plus their choice of a hot or cold beverage. In Disney California Adventure:
*Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT! will debut on May 27, 2017. A debut celebration will be held the night before. Guests wishing to get a sneak peak of the festivities can purchase a Galactic Premiere Party ticket for $150 per person (ages 3 and up) which includes a dinner voucher, a special souvenir, photo ops with Black Widow, Hawkeye, Spider-Man and Captain America. Your ticket also includes unlimited access to the new Guardians of the Galaxy thrill ride (formerly known as Tower of Terror) and a dance party too. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite Superhero costumes, subject to park rules and the party will be from 7pm to 11:00pm. If you’re not into it but your kids keep begging you to take them, remember, Disney California Adventure offers alcoholic beverages.
