An Party that was Elegant Like Our Sister

Our little sister Ofelia Godinez is a woman with a big heart and deep faith in God. She is a peacemaker, a very considerate woman and a great mom to her son Jeremiah. Her husband Arturo asked if we would help him coordinate a surprise 50th birthday celebration for her but he wanted to do something elegant and classy, just like our sister Ofelia. We all pitched in, our daughters helped decorate and we set everything up in her backyard a few hours before guests arrived. Arturo told her he needed her to run to the grocery store and make several other stops because he was expecting company. As soon as she left, we arrived and got to work, setting everything up and decorating. She came back home before we got done but we were still able to surprise her and it gave her enough time to dress up for her special day.  We had a blast with good food, booze and live music.

Ofe, we love you and hope you live another 50!
