Disneyland’s classic nighttime spectacular “Fantasmic!” is making a comeback this summer after a year-and-a-half break. The popular attraction closed down in January 2016 to make way for construction crews to continue their task of ‘cosmic’ proportions that will be Star Wars Land.
Disney fans who have suffered through the absence of “Fantasmic!” can now look forward to an enhanced experience that will include new mist screens and state-of-the-art projection technology that will take the show to “brilliant new heights,” according to the Disney Parks Blog.
2017 will mark the 25th anniversary of “Fantasmic!” but Disney is not sharing much. All we know is that the show will keep its classic soundtrack while introducing new scenes from Disney animated classics, including Aladdin and Jasmine floating on their flying carpet over the Rivers of America.
