Children under one should not drink juice. And older kids, ages one to three years should have no more than 4-6 ounces of juice per day, according to a recently released statement by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). While the recommendation is not groundbreaking (we’ve heard many health experts offer similar advice), the AAP had never gone as far as to release specific guidelines for children’s juice intake. We asked a few mommies in LA to give us their opinion on this topic. Here is what they said:
