The 2nd Annual Super Mamás Social was held over Mother’s Day weekend at the Plaza de Cultura y Artes in Downtown Los Angeles, bringing together local moms, their kids and an array of experiences to enjoy with the family.
The event, organized by Los Angeles sisters and Super Mamás Podcast hosts Paulina and Bricia Lopez, was a four-hour celebration of moms and for moms. Plenty of dads were also in attendance and helped chase after the little ones who got to play with teepees, bubble machines, miniature soccer, coloring activities and even enjoyed a book reading by actress Roselyn Sanchez.
Guests got pampered with make-up applications, goodie bags, swag, an all-female mariachi and plenty of photo opportunities, thanks to Target, the event’s presenting sponsor. There were also candid conversations with guest panelists, including actress Melissa Fumero and Social Media Influencer Jacqui Saldana.
A carefully selected number of vendors were also on site giving attendees an opportunity to shop for everything from Frida Kahlo pillows (RaggedyTiff) and penguin-shaped sippy cups (LollaCup) to Margarita-flavored cupcakes (VivaLosCupcakes) and bilingual books (Lil Libros).
