In my household there’s no racism. It’s all about what one person teaches another person. There’s no fear about more riots. I’m learning criminal justice and I just don’t see that happening.
— Alejandra Castillo, mother of 5, Pacoima

There may be more riots, yes. But I teach my kids to always respect all people and businesses. In my opinion, I don’t feel police are directly targeting certain groups. They have to defend the community and I don’t see them being racist.
— Iris Uriel, mother of 3 boys, North Hills
