Artsy Kidss End of Year Arts Show!

Creating with Minimal Boundaries

Artsy Kidss is an art program designed to empower kidss and boost their self-confidence through art expression. We use stories of modern and traditional artists combined with technique to explore the power of painting. Kidss are given tools to paint their own versions of what they learn, increase their ability to interpret, and create with minimal boundaries. 

Artsy Kidss hosts an after school program, as well as a monthly weekend class open to all children. On June 25th we hosted our end of year Artsy Kidss Art Show at Residency Art Gallery. The show included the work of all Artsy Kidss participants for the 2016-2017 school year. The artists picked their favorite painting from the program. We had a wide range of works, from abstract to self portraits.

Our arts and crafts table gathered a lot of love, as all of our Artsy Kidss enjoyed materials and created incredible pieces. One of our kidss made a purse out of foam paper and stickers! Parents were able to connect while the kidss entertained themselves by exercising their creativity further. Exploring creativity is what Artsy Kidss is all about! We received so much love from the parents, community, and of course our young artists!
