Disney has always been a big part of photographer Karen Marie’s life.
“The amazing tales of love and heroism have always been an inspiration to me and now I see them inspiring my girls,” she says.
The Roseville, CA mother of three who owns Belly Beautiful Portraits recently took her love of Disney to her photography studio with six newborn baby girls as her subjects.
The result? An incredibly cute Disney Princess-themed photo session that has gone viral and made people smile with joy everywhere.
But photographing the baby princesses was no easy task.
“With having six babies in the same place a little crying can have a domino effect,” says Marie. “The shoot was long but very successful and holding each one of the babies was a real treat!”
Plus, Marie loves babies. Prior to becoming a full time Maternity and Newborn photographer, she was a labor and delivery nurse and a child birth educator.
“I feel so lucky that I was able to create a career out of my passion for babies and my love for photography,” says Marie.
On the day of the Disney Princess Baby shoot, Marie had her staff on board which really helped her focus on the creative aspect of the session, she says.
When the photos were done, it reiterated her love for photography.
Her biggest satisfaction, she says, was “seeing the emotion that my images evoked when the new parents saw them for the first time and knowing how the family will cherish them for generations.”
