A VIP Meet and Greet & private cocktail reception with Dekker will be available for select donors. The ticket includes dinner and a signed copy of her book, “One Girl, One Dream”.

Proceeds from ticket sales will be used to send children in LA’s under-served communities to Life Sail’s summer camps and weekend programs. During the evening, attendees will also have an opportunity to win items through the silent auction including a sunset sail, discovery flight to Catalina and golf pro putting lessons.

“As a result of completing our programs, students’ leadership, communication skills, grades and self-esteem have improved!” says Matt Schulz, Director and Founder of Life Sail, Inc. “It’s incredible to watch the lives of thousands of children transform as they complete our programs. My goal is to grow Life Sail so we can continuing serving thousands of children in Los Angeles and throughout the globe. Together, we really can make a difference.”

Life Sail, Inc., was founded in 2003, with a focus on teaching the importance of life skills, teamwork and leadership, through sailing and boat-building activities. They are one of few operations on the west coast implementing Reach, U.S. Sailing’s STEM Program and Environmental Education Initiative aligned to National Education Standards, offering character and life-skill building activities to under-served children throughout the year.

They’ve served over 5,000 children in LA county.
