Hello Kitty Fans had a big reason to stand in a long line on Friday at the Shoe Palace on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood. Items from the PUMA x HELLO KITTY capsule collection which officially launches on February 8, went on sale at a preview Pop-Up, offering Angelenos a chance to prove their love of the most famous Sanrio character.
During the Pop-Up Shop, customers had a chance to buy items from the collection including Hello Kitty Tees, Hoodies, Backpacks and the collection’s signature item– The Suede Classic x HELLO KITTY women’s shoe, which features a timeless silhouette with playful graphics.
The shoe’s leather stripe is red, which makes it stand out from the whimsical HELLO KITTY print. There’s also a HELLO KITTY bow on top of the shoe, which is arguably the best reason to consider buying a pair for yourself, your teenage daughter, your preschooler or your baby girl (yes, they come in women’s, juniors, little kid and infant sizes).
On Friday customers also got a chance to enjoy a nail bar, a tattoo parlor, drinks, treats, and most importantly, a special appearance by Hello Kitty who was sporting a pair of red PUMAs too.
The PUMA x HELLO KITTY collection arrives February 8 at the PUMA Website and select retail stores. Retail value for a pair of HELLO KITTY Suede ranges from $65 to $110.
