Hush: Instant Hair-ification

Chances are, some of your favorite beauty products are made by Mana, the leading private label manufacturer for some of the world’s top skincare, cosmetics and haircare products. Now, Mana is launching a new, proprietary brand at the intersection of haircare and cosmetics. Meet Hush. The secret’s out.

Launching with exclusive distribution at Sephora and QVC, Hush debuts with two DIY haircolor products formulated to achieve the same instant gratification for your hair that makeup delivers for your face. After all, why should your face have all the fun?

“Mana is known for making products for some of the world’s biggest beauty brands. This gives us a unique insight into what people want but are unable to find on shelves,” says Emma Froelich-Shea, General Manager for Mana Brands. “We know that DIY dominates today’s beauty landscape and that consumers are looking for Insta-worthy ways to express themselves. With Hush, these hair-transforming results are within reach.”

The brand is kicking off its launch with two products – Prism Airbrush Spray and Fill Seeker Hair Plumping Fibers. Prism Airbrush Spray provides epic kaleidoscopic hair color for those who are not quite ready for the commitment of permanent, vibrant hues. Available exclusively at Sephora and Sephora.com in seven shades, this temporary hair color spray is free of peroxide, ammonia, harsh permanent dyes, and is not tested on animals. Fill Seeker Hair Plumping Fibers feature a revolutionary formula that instantly hug every strand with magnetically charged micro-fibers for instantly fuller, plumped up hair – increasing strand diameter by up to 33.8%. Fill Seeker Hair Plumping Fibers will be available on Sephora.com and QVC.

Hush has enlisted NYC-based celebrity hair stylist, Michael Silva, to serve as their first ambassador. Michael’s portfolio of high-profile clients includes Kate Bosworth, Chrissy Teigen, and Kendall Jenner – among many others. “When I first learned about Hush, I immediately loved the idea of being able to accessorize with your hair. We’ve seen it on the runways – from neons to pastels in everything from braids to bobs,” says Michael.  “I’m excited to work hand-in-hand with Hush to help people achieve these runway-inspired, salon-worthy looks at home.”

Hush is currently available at Sephora, and on Sephora.com  and QVC with products ranging from $24-34. The brand has plans to unveil future products designed to help shoppers achieve instant “hair-ification” at home.
