When Life Gives You Limes, Use them on Your Tacos!

LA’s popular Taco Madness event is back for round two this Cinco de Mayo and promises enough tacos, beer and live performances to make you call the babysitter right now and make arrangements not to miss.

Presented by L.A. Taco and I LOVE MICHELADAS in partnership with LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, the free event is being produced by Suavicrema and will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 6pm to midnight.

Tickets are not required for admission to Taco Madness, unless you want to avoid the crowds, arrive an hour early and eat your first tacos of the evening quietly. For that, guests can purchase a $25 VIP ticket, which includes early admission, from 5-6 pm and a VIP swag bag for the first 100 VIP guests.

Only guests 21 and over will be allowed entry but that’s a good thing because if you understand the L.A. Taco scene, then you know tacos and beer are nearly synonymous.

Organizers of the event say they’re proud to celebrate the taco lifestyle in L.A. featuring the best micheladas and Angelenos’ favorite taco trucks and cart vendors including Leo’s Tacos  with their signature trompo, Mariscos Jalisco, Chichen Itza, Sonoratown, Guerrilla Tacos, Carnitas El Momo, Taquería La Venganza, Horchatería Río Luna, Burritos La Palma, Ramona’s, Churro Boss, Balam and many more.

Craft beer from LA’s own Boomtown, Indie Brewing and Wiretap, craft cocktail bars from Jägermeister and premium cocktails from Partida Tequila will also be available.

The event will also bring back the judging component of L.A. Taco’s annual online taco competition, Taco Madness, where votes are currently being accepted for L.A.’s favorite taco at  www.lataco.com.
