Mommy & Me Fun July 26 – July 28, 2019

The Single Moms Planet, an L.A.-based 501c(3) organization that supports children from single parent families, is hosting its Annual Summer Camping Trip from July 26 – July 28 at Camp Emerald Bay in Catalina Island. Sponsored by the Scouts of America, L.A. Moms interested in attending with their children 6 years and older are encouraged to purchase tickets before they sell out.

“The mommy and me camping trip is packed full of adventure and fun activities,” said Neferteri Plessy, founder of Single Moms Planet. “Moms and their children get to enjoy sailing, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, campfire stories and much more. Boys and girls ages 6+ are welcome to attend and must be accompanied by their mother.”

The camp registration fee is $150 for members of Single Moms Planet. Non-members pay $250. In order to take advantage of special member pricing, participants must register HERE. The camp registration fee includes meals, activities, a private tent and round-trip boat transportation to and from the dock.

LOCATION: Camp Emerald Bay on Catalina Island, CA.
DEPARTURE DATE & TIME: July 26, 2019 at approximately 7:30 a.m. final time sent via email.
RETURN DATE & TIME: July 28, 2019 at approximately 1:00 p.m. final time sent via email.
TRANSPORTATION: Round trip boat transportation to and from the dock will be provided.
CAMPING SITE: All families will be placed in their own private tent.
FOOD: All food will be provided, feel free to bring easy to make food items such a cup of soup.
WATER: Please bring your own bottled water, there will be water on site but having your own water is recommended.
WHAT TO BRING: A what to bring list will be provided via email once your registration is complete.

Note: Additional children are $50 per child, up to 2 additional children are able to attend per mother, click HERE. *This trip is non-refundable but it is transferable, please email us support@singlemomsplanet.org if you need to transfer your camping trip.
