36% of Los Angeles Families Experience Diaper Need

A recent study by the National Diaper Bank Network and Huggies diaper company, unveiled that one in three Los Angeles Families are in diaper need, or struggle to provide enough diapers to keep a baby or toddler clean, dry and healthy.

To help support these families in need, Huggies and Ralph’s teamed up to donate a day’s worth of diapers for every pack of Huggies diapers purchased (up to 1M diapers) from November 8-December 5, as part of Huggies No Baby Unhugged Program.

A portion of the diapers donated will go to GOOD+ Los Angeles, directly impacting babies and families in the Los Angeles area.

“Many of the families we serve are forced to make difficult choices every day, like whether to put food on the table or purchase diapers for their baby. This means many parents may have to keep their child in a dirty diaper for longer or even re-use soiled diapers,” said Carly Harrill, Associate Vice President, National Fundraising & Marketing at GOOD+ Foundation Los Angeles.

By shopping at a local Ralph’s in the LA area, shoppers will have a direct impact on families in their local community.

“Thanks to Huggies and Kroger, we’re all helping Los Angeles parents in need have enough clean diapers while they participate in partner services that give them the tools they need to improve their lives,” said Harrill.
