Inspired by the idea of luxurious practicality, Nicole Frank’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection launched this week with a curated assortment of customizable and ready to wear jackets, pants, tops, dresses, skirts and jumpsuits–– all of which can be accompanied with luxe silk, cashmere, fur and leather zip-ons.
“My biggest inspiration are the women I grew up with, in my family…They were so glamorous and they had a great style in the 60s and 70s,” said Frank.
The California mom of a young daughter, Frank began her career as a handbag designer but soon realized there was a need for the busy, hardworking woman to find a smarter and more sophisticated way of dressing. Her self-titled fashion brand’s tagline, “The Wardrobe Evolution” represents the progression of women’s roles in society and the fashion that evolves with it.
Frank’s collection highlights lavish textiles, architectural silhouettes, intricate details and sleek tailoring.
“I combined my inspiration from the women in my life with the modern sensibility of women today ‘on the go’ and needing clothes that work from day-to-night,” Frank added. “I came up with a line that I think looks great and the modern woman needs in her wardrobe. You don’t have to dry-clean it. You can wash everything!”
Stand out pieces from the Fall/Winter 2017 assortment include the Fruzsina Top with a mock neck collar and ultra-chic removable shearling sleeve option, perfect to go from the office to date night.
The Helen Dress may very well become a closet staple this season, with its classic A-line silhouette and interchangeable sleeves and hemline.
The expertly tailored, figure flattering, Esther Jumpsuit upgrades any wardrobe and the structured Julie Jacket takes sporty style to a new level.
“I am so thrilled to launch my first collection. My goal is to inspire women and encourage confidence by offering smart wardrobe options that won’t limit their activities or abilities” said Frank.
