Tropical Looks for a Summer of Glam

Last month, I had the honor of working with Hong Kong photographer Tiana Kotti and Russian Supermodel Dassana in Thailand.

We completed a few different Tropical Style Hair and Makeup Looks on Dassana, using mainly MAC eye shadows, Bobbi Brown Skincare and Leonor Greyl hair products. What we created was a perfect type of glam that any woman can rock while on summer vacation.

The first look (pictured above) was created by applying bronzer on the cheeks, a metallic yet subtle brown eye shadow that not only highlights the eyelid but adds a gentle line of brown color beneath the bottom lashes. To make everything come together, we used a bright, bold pink lipstick.

I brushed Dassana’s hair back and gave it a semi-wet look using a Leonor Greyl product.

Add this make-up combination to a light colored outfit with tropical prints (like her white bathing suit with leaves and flowers) and you’ll be the talk of all beaches.

Dasssana’s second look only involved two changes in her make-up: the lip color and a gold eye line. I left the brown metallic shadow, adding a thin line of gold liner to her bottom lid. Mainly, her lips went from bright to nude. Her hair was slightly teased and left loose for a sexy post-beach nap look.

Finally, we removed most eye shadow and returned her lips to a bright tone, (a red orange color) and pulled her hair back into a bun for the third look. A thin black eyeliner on her bottom eyelid makes her face look summer city chic. Just don’t forget the stud earrings.
