On the Scene with Mrs. Kathy King!

The old adage “Give and you will receive” has proven true for Los Angeles Mom Blogger, Kathy King.

Years ago, Kathy launched a website where she offered tips on couponing. She could have kept the money-saving secrets to herself and enjoyed the benefits of being a savvy shopper. Instead, she shared her knowledge with the world and moms responded gratefully. They started following her social media accounts and kept loyal to her advice.

To date, her Facebook page has received over 27,000 likes. Her blog, On The Scene with Mrs. Kathy King is “a Kaleidoscope of Ideas for Families” with a series of sections that include SoCal Adventures, Tips for Moms, Party Ideas, Shopping Guides and even crafts and recipes.

Kathy has since recruited a staff of writers, including her 21-year old son, JJ King, in order to keep up with posting assignments. She has been invited to KTLA Morning News to share the latest in the world of babies and kids. She has also been featured in national platforms such as Buzzfeed for her Printable Inside Out-themed invitations.

Being a mom of three kids including JJ, Houston, 18 and Joy, 5 means we get to enjoy pictures of her family having fun all over Southern California.

As for her husband, Kathy shares this fun fact: “I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for over 22 years. When we met, we knew we were meant to be because his parents called him Bam Bam growing up and my father’s nickname for me was Pebbles.”
