Mom Blogger Monday: Angelique Armada

Angelique Armada better known as “Jay” loves to take action! The hard-working mommy of Lincoln Andre; 1, is a mompreneur, Dance Fitness Instructor and most recently, a blogger for The Adventures of Lincoln & the hardworking Mama.

To say Jay keeps busy is an understatement! She owns Beastin Beauties Fit Studio, an invitations/graphics store, Angelique Creations, and works part-time in two different capacities– one as a P.E. teacher and another as a billing administrative assistant for a genetics lab company.

“But my most favorite job is being a mom,” says Jay. “I am everything I said I was never going to be as a mom. I said I will never be that one mom who posts their child everyday– and now that’s me. I said I’ll never let having kids derail me from doing what I want– and now whatever it is, isn’t as important as being with my boy. My favorite role is being a mom and I love every minute of it. “

She also launched LaLa Mom Shop in 2018 for her son Lincoln. The shop sells a variety of mom-themed tops and customized party invitations (available by visiting her blog).

What inspired you to become a blogger?

My son is my biggest inspiration in anything and everything I do.

What is your proudest Mommy Blogger Moment?

I just started blogging. I’m still getting the hang of things.

What’s your favorite place to take your son in LA?

I love taking him to the different parks in our neighborhood and Kidspace Children’s Museum— but his favorite place to be is our backyard. We set up our backyard (Lincoln Land) complete with a mini roller coaster, slides, ball pit, cars…. etc.

What’s your favorite LA hang out without the baby?

Currently, my fitness studio! When it’s not being used for fitness classes– I host different Ladies Night out events such as Bingo Night, Paint Night and Girl’s Night out Twerk Class.
